The Wilcoxon signed-rank test is the nonparametric equivalent of the related (dependent) samples t-test. In other words, it is used when the measurements of the dependent variable are in the range or ratio scale, but do not meet the normal distribution condition or are in the order scale, with other conditions remaining the same.
In this video, how the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test is performed using SPSS, when it is used, what its main purpose is, what the prerequisites are and its interpretation are explained in full detail.
