In this article, we discuss the Lawshe Technique, which is a method of determining content validity, which is frequently used in scale development studies. This method is a method for determining the content validity of the candidate scale items we have prepared by presenting them to the opinion of more than one expert, based on the consistency of these opinions, that is, the assessments of the experts on the items. With the method, we can calculate values called Content Validity Ratio (CVR) for each item and Content Validity Index (CGI) for all remaining items. You can watch the details of how the calculation is done in our video.
